Wow, has it been a month since I've posted here? Goodness. Well I could say I've been busy readying for the holidays and whatnot, but that would be a lie.
I used to look forward to cooking over the weekend and do you know what my beloved Sunday cooking has become? A cheese plate. I honestly don't know where time disappears to these days, but I want to say that with the cooler weather and shorter days, I've just grown lazy. All I want to do is snuggle up with the family and drink wine and eat cheese.
Pathetic. Yet comforting.

As my classmates used to say... Today was a 'Lifetime' kind of day... so dark and drizzly, you might as well roll back over and tune in for some cheesy B movies all day.
Let's face it; I never 'cook'. I *bake*... and this is the perfect weather for it. For me, there's nothing better than coming home and being greeted by the smell of fresh bread. :)
Of course I get excited with each new post of yours...but honestly, Jeni, don't stress. Spend your weekends exactly as you wish to. Don't cook just to blog!!! We love you unconditionally and no matter what!!
The rain and super-short days make me want to snuggle up with the doggies and sleep or watch bad TV. There is usually some wine involved, too.
